Welcome to Sri Lanka's first and only online database of Legal Information. LawNet provides free World Wide Web access to a comprehensive collection of legal information.

LawNet is intended to be a tool for both the legal community and the general public. Our mission is to improve access to up-to-date legal information and increase awareness about Sri Lanka's constantly evolving legal framework.

The database can be searched using a variety of criteria. The search capabilities are designed to offer general searching for members of the public and more advanced searching for the legal profession.

LawNet was created through the Legal and Judicial Reforms Project, a World Bank funded Project under the Ministry of Justice and Law Reforms.
