BY virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 5 (1) of the Finance Statute of the Southern Province No. 07 of 1990,I, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Chief Minister and the Minister of Finance of the Southern Provincial Council do by this Order with effect from 1 st January, 2001 deleting the following business and institutions published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 644/29 of 12th January, 1991, from exemption of the Turnover Tax.

(5) Mahapola Lottery,

(6) Wasana Lottery of the National Youth Service Council,

(7) Lotteries conducted by the National Lotteries Board.
