BY virtue of the powers vested in me under Section- 98 (1) of the Finance Statute of the Southern Provincial Council, No. 7 of 1990, I, Matarage Sirisena Amarasiri, Chief Minister and the Minister in Charge of the Subject of Finance, do by this order, fix a rate of 5 per centum on the gross proceeds of every Lottery conducted in accordance with any law within the Southern Province other than the National Lottery and Lotteries conducted by the Government of Sri Lanka.
